This website is dedicated to addressing traumatic brain injury (“TBI) issues. People may suffer a traumatic brain injury or TBI through many different activities such as motor vehicle collisions, motorcycle collisions, sports such as football, military combat, etc. A shocking number of our brave war veterans have returned from combat and have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). However, medical professionals are now recognizing that veterans being diagnosed with PTSD are actually suffering from a traumatic brain injury. During my practice of law I have encountered people who have been involved in a collision, (car, motorcycle, truck, or bicycle) and have suffered a traumatic brain injury. Even when a person does not hit their head, they can still suffer a traumaticbrain injury (TBI). When a person’s head is violently shaken or rocked, their brain may be injured which is called a “coup/contrecoup” brain injury. Just like any other traumatic brain injury this can be devastating to a person. In many cases a person will suffer a radical change of personality.
Many attorneys fail to recognize that someone may have suffered a traumatic brain injury. When you come to my office you will meet with me personally. I will conduct a thorough interview and we will discuss your options. First we will focus on your health and your medical care and then we will focus on the legal issues of your case. You are a person, not just a case and I will treat you as such. I will work closely with you and we will get to know each other quite well.
